What Are the Passing Marks for ACCA Exams?
Students generally need to achieve at least 50% marks in an ACCA examination paper to pass. Each paper is assessed separately, and candidates should review their individual results to understand their performance.
A pass in one paper does not automatically mean that all other papers have been cleared. Candidates should check the result for every examination they attempted during the September session.
Students who pass their papers can continue working towards their ACCA qualification according to their study plan and applicable progression requirements.
What Should You Do After Checking Your ACCA Result?
Your next step depends on the outcome of your examination.
If you pass your paper:
- Review your marks and confirm your result status.
- Check your remaining examinations and qualification requirements.
- Plan your preparation for the next stage of your ACCA studies.
- Keep a copy of your result information for your records.
If you do not pass:
- Review your performance and identify the topics that need improvement.
- Check the syllabus and exam guidance for the paper.
- Make a realistic study timetable for your next attempt.
- Practise past questions and improve your time management.
- Confirm the next available examination session and registration deadlines.
One unsuccessful attempt does not end your professional qualification journey. A clear preparation plan can help you approach the next examination with greater confidence.
Why Is My ACCA Result Not Showing?
Some students may not see their results immediately at the scheduled release time. This does not necessarily mean that there is a problem with their examination.

- Check that you are using the correct myACCA account.
